Roselyn Ngissah est une actrice Ghanéenne originaire du Nord du Ghana, reconnue pour son
talent. Elle est Akan. Née de parents Ghanéens, elle a grandi à Lagos au Nigéria, avant de
retourner vivre dans son pays d'origine, où elle fit ses études universitaires en Art du Théatre.
Elle obtient son diplôme en 2008. Peu de temps après, elle devient employée de banque. Son premier rôle au cinéma date de 2004, après plusieurs auditions depuis 2001.
En 2010, Roselyn Ngissah remporte le prix de meilleur actrice au Ghana Movie Awards.

J’ai refusé parce que, perdre du poids, c’est aller contre ma propre volonté. J’aime mes rondeurs.
Je ne veux pas me forcer à ressembler à un top model, alors que je n’en suis pas une. Je suis plus que satisfaite de mon poids et de ma forme, parce que je suis une femme africaine. »
